New Medical Spa wants everyone to be able to use newmedicalspausa.com (the “Site”), including people with disabilities. We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
What we have done
- Reviewed every page of the Site with automated testing and manual keyboard testing against WCAG 2.2 AA
- Added a “Skip to main content” link, a main content landmark, and a clearly visible keyboard focus indicator
- Gave descriptive names to icon links, such as social media, account, cart, and map links
- Corrected menu and list markup so screen readers announce navigation correctly
- Improved the color contrast of text, links, and buttons
- Added text alternatives or decorative markings to images, and titles to embedded maps
- Labeled form controls and enlarged small tap targets
Ongoing work
Accessibility is ongoing. We review new pages and content as they are added, and we recheck the Site regularly. Some content comes from third parties, such as embedded maps, our online scheduling tool, payment providers, and social media, and may not fully meet the same standard. We work with those providers where we can.
